Fenugreek

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is a plant native to the Middle East and North Africa. Its stems bear leaves composed of three leaflets, and its fruits appear as long pods filled with small, brown, angular seeds. These seeds contain soluble fibers known as mucilages, which are believed to help bind and trap some of the fats present in food. Fenugreek is said to help support and balance fat metabolism*. As a result, it may help support weight loss. Fenugreek is also known to contribute to normal glucose and insulin metabolism*.
